Big Bristol Abseil - Aquarium Takeover

My Story
I’m so proud of this event! Not only will I be organising the Big Bristol Abseil – Aquarium takeover, but I will join our brave supporters in abseiling down the iconic Bristol Aquarium to raise money for the ground-breaking new South West Children's Research Appeal, a pioneering research centre at the heart of Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, the South West's leading specialist hospital for children.
The funding for this research centre is very close to my heart. As some of you might know, my younger sister, Danique, passed away when she was only 10 years old. Danique was diagnosed with Leukemia, and after lots of treatments and a bone marrow transplant, sadly, she still lost the fight.
Since then, 18 years ago, a lot has changed. When it comes to treatments and survival rates, children, who get diagnosed with ALL, or other life-threatening diseases, now have perspective on a healthier future and a higher chance of getting better. This is only possible thanks to dedicated research teams who work in Children’s Research Centres like the one we are going to build in Bristol.
Will you support me in raising money for this amazing cause? Together we can bring hope to families with a critically ill child: hope for a better future, hope for a cure.
Please support me by making a donation.
